Overview

Zě Ya Ǐcě was founded durring the early 10th century, by Byoctîd Fyêbmtco. The establishment of Zě Ya Ǐcě was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Byoctîd Fyêbmtco struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Zě Ya Ǐcě as a prison colony.

Zě Ya Ǐcě was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Zě Ya Ǐcě is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Zě Ya Ǐcě is was constructed arround several premissive packed earth mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The city has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Zě Ya Ǐcě's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The monster and outlaw focused fortifications have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Zě Ya Ǐcě is like looking into a university’s plaza on the day before an exam. People rush about to-and-fro. Discarded scrolls and quills are dotted around city. In spite of many locals discussing academic topics, there’s little sign of any organized groups for any of that talk. Infact, the city seems disordered in general with everything scattered helter skelter about.
